Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect from a speech therapy session?

Initially, your speech pathologist will work with you and your child to better understand your concerns regarding their communication/feeding, this may be achieved through play, skilled observation and possibly more formal assessment.

Each session is then tailored to your child’s needs and will likely include play/games to support your child’s engagement in therapy tasks – a lot of the time children don’t even know they’re doing therapy!

Feedback is always provided to parents during or following each session.

How often will my child need therapy?

The frequency of therapy depends on your child’s specific needs and progress. Their therapists will create a customised plan that best supports your child.

Is Adaptability Therapy a registered NDIS Provider?

Yes, they are a registered and approved NDIS provider. They also support privately funded clients as well.
